Quiet Days

Opportunities to lay aside everyday pressures and enjoy God’s presence.

St George’s Church, Weald, TN14 6LT, is holding Quiet Days once a month on the second Tuesday of the month in the church. During the day there are three short talks, led by a different speaker each month, to help guide reflections; there are quiet times for relaxing and for listening to God or for receiving prayer, or maybe taking a walk, and there are times to worship and pray together with a short time of opening worship and a midday communion service. All are welcome to attend.
Quiet Days start at 10am with refreshments and finish at 3.30pm.  There is no charge for the day but donations are welcomed. Hot and cold drinks, cake and biscuits are freely available throughout the day but please bring a packed lunch. There is a car park next to the church.

The next two Quiet Days are:
Tuesday 8th October 2019
Led by Rev Ren Harding ‘Growing into Spiritual Maturity – Learning from Walter Hilton’

 Tuesday 12th November 2019
Led by Canon Don Laurie ‘Broken and Mended – This is Our Story’
